Dr Karsten Walzer has a strong background in organic electronic materials and devices. He studied physics at TU Chemnitz (Germany) and was a postdoc at Mikroelektronik Centret of Danish Technical University Copenhagen (Denmark). Then, Karsten headed the OLED development group of IAPP / TU Dresden for six years, before he joined Heliatek in 2008. There, he leads an OPV materials development team and is responsible for national and international collaboration projects.
